Pigeons have a unique way of walking. They need to adjust their focus as they walk. It can’t adjust its focus while moving. So, the pigeon actually brings its head to a complete stop between steps in order to refocus. We too need to refocus on Jesus during our spiritual journey.
Let’s dedicate the month of April to refocusing on Jesus before moving forward. Christians around the world will focus on Jesus this month too. Let’s stop between each step to refocus on where we are in relation to God’s Word, His World and His divine will for our lives.
I invite you to join me as we refocus our attention on Jesus each Sunday. Our son, Lloyd will be sharing God’s word on Sunday morning the 16th – His topic is “What’s in a title”. Lloyd, His wife Johanne with their four children, Haimish, Isaac, Mairead and Sebastien, serve the Lord at Crossway Baptist Church.
My prayer is for the Holy Spirit to sharpen our spiritual vision of Jesus, our eternal Lord and Saviour. Let us make singer and song-writer Steffany Dawn Gretzinger’s wonderful song our song for this month:
