This happens to be the final month of Autumn in Australia. I have always enjoyed Autumn; it is the best season of the year for me. Most people also know that the second Sunday of May is designated as Mother’s Day each year. A day when Mothers are pampered and given special recognition. Emma & Jenny have something special prepared for our mothers. Let us celebrate our mothers on the 14 th of this month.
Mothers are considerate, they are primary educators of indispensable life skills. There are many other reasons why mothers are the best. In spite of this, many mothers are ignored, neglected, or even abandoned. Every mother should be appreciated every day of the year for their sacrificial service. Pamper your mother or motherly figure in your life this year to breakfast in bed, a special arrangement of flowers, or a nice gift that demonstrates just how much you appreciate her. Above all, thank God for your mother, even if she is in heaven today.
This month is also May Missions month at WBC. We will all make a contribution to a specially chosen ministry among Mongolian people chosen by Robyn and our Missions team this year. Please make Dr David Beischer and his wife Caroline welcome when they join us on the 7 th . They will be sharing more about the ministry God has entrusted to them.
