No one was prepared for life in Australia to change so dramatically after the pandemic hit us in March 2020. Most of us had to adjust to the changes thrust upon us. Since then we are still faced with a rapidly changing world.
I am in no doubt that unexpected and unpredictable obstacles will continue to face all those who seek to live to please God. God permits obstacles on our pathway only to support us as we change into His likeness. The first step is to surrender to the Holy Spirit so He can change us. I am sure you will agree with me that WBC has changed. Now, every one of us will do well to gear up for more change as we look forward to welcoming our new Senior Pastor. Never forget Solomon's words as we change:
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you the path to take. Proverbs 3:5-6
We will be visited by two friends in November. On the 12th Pastor Andrew Naylor from the BUV will sing and share God's word with us. On the 19th Senior Pastor Duncan Becsi from Beaconsfield Baptist Church will share God's word with us. Duncan visited us in June last year. We can look forward to two wonderful Sunday mornings in November. Please welcome them!
