You must be intrigued by my title this month. Many would instinctively think: “Two months more” for the Christmas season to be over, 2022 will be behind us, or...
I was thinking, in two months more we could assess, whether we lived lives that pleased our Lord, whether our prayer-life was enhanced, or our understanding of God’s Word and His Will for our lives was deepened. Two months more, and what would the Lord actually say to each one of us? Would He be delighted with us or would He have a few things to say to us, just as He did to the seven churches in John’s Revelation. We know, that the biggest room in the world is the room for improvement. I have no doubt that the Lord would surely show us some room for improvement over the next couple of months. There must be areas in our life that could be worked on over the next two months. Let’s finish this year well.
I will continue to work through the first few chapters of John’s Revelation through the month of November. God–willing, we will pick it up again in 2023.
Thank you to all those who assisted with “Songs that Bless your heart” over the past few months. We will not be meeting for STBYH on November 27th due to our AGM on that Sunday. We will meet instead at 2.00 PM on Sunday 4th December for our final “Christmas Songs that Bless your Heart” followed by a great afternoon tea. Start sending me your Christmas songs that you would like to sing again.
