Packed with Potential

Looking back, I can say: “Immanuel” God has truly been with us through the ups and downs of 2022. We are still here to celebrate the dawning of another new year – 2023.

We may choose to dwell on the negatives, obstacles, difficulties of 2022, or we can praise God for guiding us safely through the twists and turns of the past year. I would rather choose the latter, than waste time bemoaning what is behind us. Let us look ahead for all that God has preordained for us through 2023. We can be absolutely sure that God has packed the year ahead of us with great potential. Potential, only if we look for them by seeking His wisdom, guidance, and support as we travel through the year ahead.

I believe God expects every one of His people to reach their full potential in Him, through Him, and for Him. The Apostle Paul sums this up in Ephesians 3:20–21. “ 20  Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.  21  Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.”

God’s desire is that we maximize the potential He has given us by taking daily steps of faith. Now is the time to put pessimistic mind-sets behind us and rise higher with God.  He expects us to live a victorious life through 2023 in the power of His Holy Spirit. So, let’s do it together!

Marjorie and I wish each one of you God’s very best through 2023.

Remember: Mediocrity is living below our God ordained potential.
